Pell Grants
Program:
Federal need-based student aid.
Benefit:
Annual cash grant of $400-$4,310 for educational expenses. May not be counted as income or assets against SSI or Medi-Cal.
Eligibility:
For currently enrolled students with limited family income, regardless of disability status.
Participancy:
For U.S. citizens and certain eligibile non-citizens in post-secondary schools.
